On Friday, May 15th the Toliver Site Based Decision Making Council offered, and he accepted, the position of principal to Mr. Ron Ballard. We are so excited to have Mr. Ballard lead our school. Mr. Ballard has been the interim principal and a long time teacher at Toliver. Mr. Ballard takes over for Judy Spellacy who has moved to a position at the central office.  READ MORE...

Community Youth Art Fair

Artwork by more than 30 Toliver School students has been selected for the annual Youth Art Fair sponsored by the Arts Commission of Danville/Boyle County! This exhibit is hosted by the Community Arts Center and there will be an opening reception for artists and the public this Thursday May 7, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Community Arts Center.   READ MORE...
Online Registration for Pep Fitness Camps

This summer the Danville Schools will be offering two Pep Fitness Camps. Students will stay active while having fun by rotating through various activities such as sports, games, challenges, walking clubs, Zumba, nutrition talks, snacks and much more. Registration for the camps is now open. The fitness camps will take place at Millennium Park, June 1-4 and June 8-11 from 9 am to 12 pm each day. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:00 and lunch from 12:00-12:30. The cost is FREE and transportation will be provided. You may sign up for one or both of the camps. Registration for our 5th Annual Experience Danville is now open. Experience Danville will take place at Danville High School, June 15-18 from 9 am to 12 pm each day. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:00 and lunch from 12:00-12:30. The cost is FREE and transportation will be provided.
