Toliver Jump Rope for Heart

Next week will be Jump Rope for Heart Week, Feb24-28th. All week long students can bring in their donations to earn duct tape to tape Mr. Beauman to the gym wall. All students need to do is bring their donation in the Jump Rope for Heart packet or any type of envelope with their name on it to Mr. Beauman by Friday the 28th. On Thursday, February 13th Brianna Crabtree had the honor of shadowing Dr. Coleman for the day.  She was able to visit a lot of classrooms and learned many things about being the superintendent of the Danville Schools. Thanks to the Toliver PTO and Dr. Coleman for sponsoring this day.

Suzanne Farmer Honored with Presidential Award

President Obama recently named 102 mathematics and science teachers as recipients of the prestigious Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. This year’s awardees represent all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Department of Defense Education Activity. The educators will receive their awards at a Washington, DC, event in the coming year. Toliver's very own Suzanne Farmer was one of the honorees. Congratulations Suzanne!   READ MORE...

Toliver Student Serves As Honorary Magistrate

On November 12, 2013 Toliver student Madison Terrell represented Toliver School at the Boyle County Magistrates meeting. She led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and was made an "honorary magistrate" by County Judge Executive Harold McKinney.  READ MORE...

Vote for Katie and Kyle Palmer

On November 9th, Katie and Kyle Palmer will be representing Toliver School at the Second Annual Dancing With the Danville Stars. Votes for Katie and Kyle are $1 each and can be dropped off at the school or by clicking on the attached link. All money collected by Katie and Kyle prior to the competition will go directly to the Toliver Stream Lab to benefit the students through the purchase of new technologies.   READ MORE...
World Language and Arts Integration Grant

Congratulations to Toliver Elementary School! Toliver School has been awarded a World Language Arts Integration grant from the Kentucky Department of Education to expand, enrich and integrate their existing Spanish and Music, Dance, Drama and Visual Arts programs! The grant will be used by selected grade levels to plan and implement Arts and World Language integrated lessons and units. Planning will be facilitated by master educators and teaching artists with expertise in integrating the disciplines.   READ MORE...

We will have 3 Mondays in July that you may stop by the school to fill out a packet for each of your children.
